Athletics Endowments

This is a meaningful opportunity to provide a lasting gift to 17³Ô¹ÏÍø Athletics—in your name or in honor of a loved one.

An endowment is a time-honored method of allocating gifts to a permanent fund. This fund is invested to generate income each year. As the fund grows, so does the income it produces. Annual distributions support student-athletes, while the principal remains invested to sustain the fund in perpetuity.

Athletics endowments require a $50,000 commitment, which may be paid over five years. Donors receive assistance in defining criteria for awarding and naming the fund.

Endowments can be established to provide annual scholarships, support new facilities or fund renovations. Gifts can be made outright or deferred through an estate plan. With thoughtful planning, there are many ways to make a significant charitable contribution to USD Athletics while protecting your personal and family financial goals.
